Bagley Patterns and Designs These photos were from a 1937 booklet that commemorated a visit by the King and Queen.
Here you can see the sugary Crystaltynt colours with the complex and rare Koala vase on the top right hand corner. Bagley made a lot of flower troughs that could be used to create a long centre piece for a table as seen on the bottom right hand side or in the form of a horseshoe or a heart. Later these items would be incorporated into a delicate chrome stands, often having stylised leaves on them following the art nouveau trend. On the lower right hand side you can also see their Andromeda figure that was featured in many of their flower bowls.
The vase on the left is called the bamboo design and the vase on the right is often called the Odeon pattern as it was like the art deco interiors of the Odeon Cinemas.
Fruit set and butter dish from the Carnival range registration number 849118, naturally this design was well before the term "carnival" was used to describe iridescent pressed glass.
